Organic sunflower lecithin is an amber-to-brown viscous liquid that is physically separated from expeller pressed organic sunflower oil without the use of solvents. As more and more products are being developed to satisfy the needs of allergen sensitive consumers, product developers are increasingly opting for sunflower lecithin over soy lecithin (currently recognized as a major allergen).
Use organic sunflower lecithin in chocolate to improve viscosity, in frozen vegan desserts to replace eggs, or in nut milk alternatives and creamers to reduce ingredient separation.
Conventional non-GMO (non-organic) liquid sunflower lecithin is also available.
